Progressive glasses, often just called progressives, are glasses that have multifocal lenses. In contrast to single-strength spectacle lenses, i.e. with a strength over the entire field of vision, these spectacle lenses have a gradually increasing strength, so that you can combine distance and reading glasses.

In most cases, this means that when you wear progressive glasses, you will see clearly at a distance when you look straight ahead and clear up close when you look down. The advantages of such glasses are many, but above all – you don’t have to change glasses for different purposes. You no longer need to change glasses when reading, because your progressive glasses will adjust to your vision.
